Description

Feizor House is a former farmhouse that has been converted into a house. It dates from the 17th century, with alterations made in the late 18th or early 19th century and further changes in the 20th century. The building is constructed of squared rubble with stone dressings and has a slate roof. It features a three-room plan with an additional projecting bay on the right side.

The house is two storeys high and has four bays. The entrance, located to the right of the centre, has a plain surround and a four-panel door. On the ground floor, there are three windows: a former four-light double chamfered mullioned window that has been reduced to a two-light with only the central cavetto mullion remaining; a taller former three-light double chamfered window; and a former two-light double chamfered window, both of which now lack mullions.

On the upper floor, there are three windows as well: a former three-light double chamfered mullioned window that has been converted to a two-light with only the left-hand mullion remaining; a taller former two-light chamfered mullioned window; and a lower former two-light double chamfered mullioned window, both of which also lack mullions. All windows have 20th-century casements, except for the right-hand upper floor window, which features eight-pane sashes.

The left-hand gable end has a ridge stack, and there is a ridge stack located to the right of centre. The projecting bay on the right contains a former two-light chamfered window on each floor, with the mullions now missing and replaced by 20th-century casements.
