Description

This is a parish boundary marker located between Austwick and Lawkland, likely from the early 19th century. It is made of dressed slate and measures about 1 meter high and 1 meter wide, featuring a pointed top and chamfered edges. The front of the stone is inscribed with the names "AUSTWICK" and "LAWKLAND," which are separated by a vertical V-shaped groove that runs down the middle of the stone. The rear side of the stone is blank.
