Description

This is a boundary stone located about 300 metres south of Field House in Austwick. It dates from the early 19th century and is made of slate, standing approximately 1 metre high and 1 metre wide. The stone features chamfered edges and is inscribed with the names 'AUSTWICK' and 'LAWKLAND', which are separated by a vertical V-shaped groove. The rear side of the stone is plain.
