Description
Pant Bridge is a pair of footbridges of the clapper bridge type, reputedly dating from the 15th century. They are constructed with limestone and slate flags resting on rubble piers. The first bridge consists of a single slate slab, approximately 75 centimetres wide and about 3 metres long, supported on a rubble base at both banks. A partly flagged causeway connects to the second bridge located to the southeast, which is made up of three slabs resting on four piers and measures about 4 metres long.
