Description
The Traddock is a former house that has been converted into a hotel. It dates from the mid to late 18th century, with some alterations made in the mid-19th century. The building is rendered with stone dressings and features a slate roof. It has a central staircase plan and stands three storeys high with two bays. The central entrance is flanked by pilasters and has a segmental arched lintel with an imitation keystone. The upper half of the door is glazed with margin-pane glazing, while the lower half has two panels.
Each storey has two 2-light flat faced mullioned windows, with the ground floor windows being deepened. The ground floor windows have 15 pane sashes, the first floor features sashes, and the second floor has 9 pane sashes. Originally, the second floor windows had three lights each, but now they both have a single repositioned mullion. The eaves are supported by shaped corbels, and there are gable-end ridge stacks as well as a stack to the left of centre.
