Description
Cheetham Cottage is a cottage dating from the early 18th century, with alterations from the early 19th century and the 20th century. It is constructed of slobbered rubble with stone dressings and has a slate roof. The gable end faces the street. The entrance front is two storeys high and consists of one bay. There is a mid-20th century wooden porch with trellis on the right-hand side of the entrance, featuring a plain surround and a six-panel door, of which the upper two panels are glazed. To the left, there is a two-light chamfered mullioned window on each storey, with 20th century casements. The left-hand gable end has a ridge stack. The cottage is included for its group value.
