Description
Lytheside West Farmhouse is a house dated A.D. 8 on the door lintel, likely built in the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed of coursed, squared rubble with quoins and features a graduated slate roof. The building is symmetrical, with two storeys and three bays. There is a central plank door flanked by sash windows on each floor. The house has stone copings and kneelers, as well as corniced stone end chimneys. Inside, there is a court cupboard dated 1688.
