Description
This is a barn located at the rear of Bowber Head (West House) in Ravenstonedale, likely dating from the 17th century, with later additions and alterations. It is constructed from coursed, squared rubble and features quoins. The barn has a graduated slate roof with an outshut at the rear. It has two low storeys and three bays. There is a blocked segment-headed door with inserted 20th-century double doors to the left, and two plank loft doors above. This barn is included for its group value.
