Description
The pig-hull located to the north-east of Lytheside East Farmhouse is a structure likely built in the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed from coursed, squared rubble and features quoins, topped with a graduated slate roof. The building is 1½ storeys high and consists of a single bay. There is a plank sty door on the west side, and to the left of the steps leading up to the plank loft door on the south elevation, there is a feeding hatch. This structure is included for its group value with the surrounding buildings.
