Description
Castle House is a house dating from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. It is constructed of rubble with a stone slate roof and has two storeys featuring three first-floor windows. The central entrance consists of a four-panel part-glazed door set within a moulded ashlar surround, which includes a plain frieze and a moulded cornice. To the left of the door is a blocked doorway with a plain ashlar surround. The building has four-pane sash windows, each framed by plain ashlar surrounds. Notable architectural details include shaped kneelers, ashlar copings, and chimney stacks located at the left end and between the second and third bays, with a new stack added at the right end.
