Description

Nutley is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of rubble stone, which was once rendered but is now scraped. The building features timber lintels above its openings and has a slate roof with flanking brick chimneys. The house is two storeys high and has three bays. On the ground floor, there are tripartite barred sash windows in the outer bays, while the first floor has three-light leaded casements. The central door is half-glazed and is topped with a large timber gabled hood supported by brackets. At the rear, there is a parallel brick range.
