Description
Clovelley Dene is a house dating from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble with ashlar dressings and features a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and three bays, with chamfered rusticated quoins. The central door consists of six vertical panels and is topped by a deep overlight with marginal panes set within an architrave. There are tall sash windows with glazing bars, also framed by architraves. The house has large shaped kneelers and ashlar coping, along with corniced ashlar end stacks. On the right side of the building, there are projecting ledges from a blocked pigeoncote in the gable. In front of the house, there are three old trimmed yew trees.
