Description
Town Foot Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century. It is constructed of rubble with an artificial-stone slate roof and has two storeys, featuring a partial rear outshut and three first-floor windows. The building has quoins and a part-glazed board door located between the first and second bays, which is set in a chamfered ashlar surround. The windows are double-chamfered mullion windows, consisting of two, three, and three lights on both floors. The farmhouse also has shaped kneelers and moulded ashlar coping, with corniced ashlar stacks positioned between the first and second bays and at the right end. To the left of the farmhouse is a former barn that has been converted into a house, which is not of special interest. At the rear of the outshut, there are two single-light double-chamfered windows and two 2-light double-chamfered mullion windows. The interior is reported to have chamfered beams.
