Description
This is a bank barn located 15 yards north of Bowberhead farmhouse in Ravenstonedale, built in 1887 with later additions. The structure is made of coursed squared rubble with quoins and features a graduated slate roof. It is two storeys high and has four bays. There are two centrally placed plank doors, with fixed windows on either side and a blocked opening above. Additionally, there is a wagon entrance to the first floor at the rear. A lower addition to the north is not of interest. The barn is included in the listing for its group value.
