Description

A bank barn with byres situated below, likely dating from the 18th or early 19th century, with later additions and alterations. The barn is constructed of coursed rubble with quoins. It is two storeys high and consists of six bays. There are five doors, and a small window is located far to the left. The part-blocked central door and the door to its left have chamfered surrounds incorporating re-used four-centred arches. Drip courses are present above all the doors. A first-floor cart entrance is located in the centre of the rear elevation. A lean-to shed at the rear is not considered of architectural interest. The barn is included on the list for group value.
