Description

Lyndene is a house, likely built in the early to mid 19th century. It is constructed from limewashed coursed rubble and features rusticated quoins. The roof is made of graduated slate and has an outshut at the rear, with a stone ridge. The building stands two storeys high and has three bays. The central entrance consists of a part-glazed door set within a pedimented doorcase, which is adorned with fluted pilasters and a keystone. On either side of the door, there are sash windows, and three additional sash windows are located above, all featuring glazing bars within stone surrounds. A stone chimney is positioned at one end of the house.
