Description

This is a mid-18th century house on South Street, Lewes. It is constructed of red brick with some blue brick detailing. The roof is covered with plain tiles and has two brick stacks at the rear. The house has two storeys and a regular three-window front with margin-light sash windows set in open boxes. The central bay features a fluted pilastered surround topped with a flat entablature and a hood, sheltering a panelled door with an overlight, which is now partially hidden by a gabled glazed conservatory porch.
