Description

This is an early 19th-century house on Dereham Road, Hingham. It is constructed of red brick with a low-pitched slate roof, featuring coped gable ends and overhanging eaves. The house has two storeys and originally comprised three windows, with the central bay projecting slightly. The window openings contain sash windows with glazing bars, set within flat brick arches and plain cills. A central doorway is present, leading to a panelled door topped with a rectangular fanlight. A wooden trellis porch with a four-centred arch and a tent-shaped roof shelters the doorway. Brick chimney stacks rise above the gabled ends of the building.
