Description

No. 18 South Street is a house dating from the early 19th century. The building features a stuccoed and rusticated ground floor, while the first floor is channelled, with a platband separating the two levels. It has a wooden eaves soffit and a slate roof, which is topped with two stacks located at the right end. The house is two storeys high and has a single window front, with glazing bar sashes that are segment-headed on the ground floor. To the left, there is a panelled door with glazed toplights, set within a wooden pilastered surround topped with a flat cornice hood supported by brackets.
