Description
This building, located at 10 South Street, is a house that has been converted into a house and café. It dates from the early to mid-19th century and features grey headers with red dressings. The roof is plain tiled and has a brick stack at the right end, along with two segment-headed dormers. The structure is two storeys high with attics and has a three-window front, featuring glazing bar sashes set in open boxes. On the ground floor to the right, there is a 20th-century double shopfront with an inset central portion that replaces the original door. To the right, there is a single 20th-century shopfront with a panelled door topped by a very shallow overlight. The door to No 8 is inset at an angle on the right-hand corner of the building.
