Description
This is an early 19th-century cottage located on the west side of South Street, Lewes. The ground floor is constructed of painted brick, while the first floor is weatherboarded. The roof is tiled, with a brick stack on the right-hand side. The cottage is two storeys high and features a single window at the front. The first floor has a sash window with glazing bars. A late 19th-century shopfront occupies the ground floor, situated on the right-hand side, with a panelled door and transom light above to the left. A wing extends to the rear of the property. It is included on the heritage register for its group value.
