Description
No. 101 High Street is a house dating from the early to mid-18th century, with alterations made in the early 19th century. The building is finished in stucco on a stuccoed plinth and features an early 19th-century paired bracketed eaves cornice. It has a plain tiled roof with a brick stack located at the rear on the right side, and there are two outer segment-headed dormers. The house is two storeys high with attics and has a regular front with four window openings, all fitted with glazing bar sashes. The entrance is a six-panel door located in the second bay from the left, which is adorned with a wreathed and radiating fanlight, topped by an open triangular pediment supported by thin pilasters.
