Description

This is a row of houses located in Keere Street, Lewes. The houses date primarily from the 17th century, but were restored and largely rebuilt in the later 19th century. They are constructed of knapped flint with a wooden soffit to the eaves and a plain tiled roof. Red brick dressings are also visible. A tall brick stack rises from the eaves towards the left of centre. There are three gabled dormers with bargeboards.

The houses are two storeys and have attics. The first floor has four windows, while the ground floor has five. Most of the windows are 20th-century wooden casements, except for those on the ground floor to the left, which are originals. There are panelled doors to the right and centrally, each with wooden architrave surrounds, flat hoods, and carved brackets above.
