GV II

House, now shop. C15, altered in C16 and C17, restored in C20. Timber-framed with upright bracing, exposed with plaster infilling. Plain tiled roof. Irregular fronts to L-shaped block with fronts along High Street and Keere Street. North (High street) front: 3 gables towards road, that to right hipped and projecting, with two half-hipped wings in centre, and slope of roof to right. Two large stacks to rear. 3 storeys to right, with 2 to left. Underbuilt jetty on ground-floor to left, and on projecting wing to right on curved brackets over ground and first floors. Irregular fenestration of 3 wood-framed lattice case- ments on second floor, 3 on first floor with 2 shop-fronts on ground-floor with central half-glazed door with small window to left under pentice hood. East (Keere Street) front: Curved and upright bracing over underbuilt jetty. 2 storeys; 2 window front with half-glazed door to right. Interior: C16 fireplace and panelling survive.
