Description

This is a pair of shops dating from the early 19th century, located on the south side of Lewes High Street. The building is stuccoed and has a wooden eaves cornice, topped by a plain tiled roof with stacks at the rear and a dormer window on the left side. It is three storeys high with an attic, and features a two-window front. The upper floors have tripartite sash windows recessed within shallow bays. A 20th-century shop front is located to the right of the ground floor, with a 19th-century fascia board and glazed door. A central glazed door is part of the shop front to the left. A downpipe runs vertically down the centre of the facade.
