This is a mid-18th century house on the west side of South Street in Lewes. The front of the house is roughcast on a brick plinth, with a leaded parapet to a slate mansard roof, which is half-hipped to the right. It has two pedimented dormers. The house has two storeys and an attic, with a four-window front. It features wide, slender sash windows with glazing bars, set in open boxes with moulded surrounds. An arched entrance is in the second bay from the left, framed by a moulded architrave, panelled reveals, and a radiating fanlight above a panelled door with glazed upper panels. The first floor west return elevation is slate hung.
