The roof is slate, with a stack on the left and a small dormer on the right. The building is two storeys high, with an attic and a basement, and has a two-window front. The first-floor windows are glazing bar sashes, while the ground floor has sashes without glazing bars, including a slim window to the right of the door. All windows are set in moulded plastered surrounds. The entrance is round-arched, with a moulded surround and key- and impost blocks beneath the right-hand first-floor window. The panelled door has two upper glazed panels and a fanlight above, accessed by three steps. There is an early 19th-century footscraper to the left of the door.
