Description

This is a pair of houses, dating from the early 19th century. They are now shops and are located on the west side of Station Street in Lewes. The houses are constructed of grey headers with red brick dressings, and have a slate roof with a stack on the left-hand side. The main façade is three storeys high and features a two-window arrangement with sash windows set within red brick surrounds. The ground floor has two 19th-century shopfronts, each with paired glazed doors within wooden architrave surrounds. They are included in the heritage listing primarily for their group value.
