Description

No 50 High Street is a house and shop dating from the early to mid 19th century. It features grey brick headers with red brick quoins and dressings. The building has a wooden eaves cornice and a hipped slate roof that is positioned end on to the road. It stands three storeys tall and has a regular two-window front, with margin-light sash windows that have gauged heads. The ground floor has a 20th-century single shopfront, which includes a two-thirds glazed door to the right and a large fascia board above. This building is included for its group value.
