Description
The Royal Oak Public House is a building that was originally a house, dating from the early 19th century. It features mathematical tiles with lighter colored tiles above the first floor. The building has a moulded cornice and a slate roof, which extends down on the right side as an outshut to the first floor. It is three storeys high, with two windows on the second floor and three sash windows on the first floor. To the left, there is an early 19th-century shopfront with pilasters that support a cornice spanning the full width of the window and a half-glazed door with a transom light above it. On the ground floor to the right, there is a late 19th-century cross-mullioned casement window.
