Description
No. 24 Southwood Road is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of stucco and features a hipped slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has three bays, with the central bay projecting forward. It has sill bands, a top frieze, and boxed eaves, along with panelled angle pilasters. The windows are sashed and include glazing bars, with a rectangular bay window located to the left of the central enclosed porch. The central first-floor window is adorned with an architrave, frieze, and cornice. The porch itself has panelled angle pilasters and a glazed doorcase, topped with a later iron and glass canopy. This house is included in the register for its group value.
