Description
Newark Mill House is a house from the early 19th century, constructed of red brick that was once colourwashed, and features a low-pitched, hipped slate roof. The building has two storeys and corbelled end stacks. Its front is symmetrical with three bays, showcasing 12-pane glazing bar sash windows in the outer bays and an 8-pane sash window in the central first floor. All windows are fitted with shutters. The central entrance features a half-glazed door beneath a tent-roofed porch supported by trellis standards, which is accessed by a flight of three steps that have urn finials at the ends of the hand railings. Above the door is a traceried transom light. At the rear, there is a conservatory with a pentice roof.
