Description

Papercourt Farm Cottages, consisting of Nos 1, 2, and 3, is a house that has been extended and divided. It has a core that dates back to the 16th century, which was reclad in the 17th century and further extended to the right in a similar style in the 20th century. The building features a timber-framed core, with a front made of red and brown brick and plain tiled roofs. It stands two storeys high, with a stack to the left of the center and an end stack to the right. The structure has a moulded edge to the plinth, a string course over the ground floor, and across the middle of the gables. The outer bays are gabled, with the left bay from the 17th century and the right bay from the 20th century, featuring a rectangular brick recess in the gables.

On the left-hand gable bay, there is one three-light casement window on each floor, with the first-floor window located under a label moulding. The ground floor window is situated under a shouldered moulding. In the center, there are two first-floor casements, and to the right-hand gable, there is one three-light casement on the first floor. Below the first-floor right-hand gable window, there is a window beneath a glazed door located to the left of center (No. 2), which is under a shouldered arch. Additionally, there is one four-light 20th-century casement window to the right and a 20th-century glazed door to the right (No. 1).
