Description
Old Manor Cottage is a house dating from the early 16th century, which was restored in the 20th century. It features a timber frame set on a brick plinth to the right, with brick infill above the exposed frame and brick cladding on the central gable. The roof is plain tiled and half-hipped. The cottage has one storey and an attic, with a 20th-century gabled casement dormer on the left and in the central gable. There is a large offset end stack to the left and a ridge stack to the left of center. The right-hand bay of this three-bay structure has long passing braces extending from the wall plate to the principal posts at sill level. The ground floor includes three 3-light casement windows and a gabled porch to the left of center, which has a 20th-century plank door.
