Description
Corner Cottage is a house that dates from the mid-16th century, with an extension added to the left in the 18th century and further remodeling and extension in the early 20th century. The building is timber framed with whitewashed render infill, and some of the framing is imitation. It has a machine-tiled, half-hipped roof that extends down over a single-storey addition to the front left. The house is two storeys high and features a central stack placed diagonally. On the first floor, there are two gabled, eaves dormers, while the ground floor to the right has two diamond-pane leaded casement windows. The central entrance door is studded, and there is one additional window on the ground floor left, along with two windows in the extension. A catslide roof is present at the rear. The building is included for its group value.
