Description
Males Farm House is a house that dates from the late 16th century, with extensions from the 17th and 18th centuries. It features a timber frame on a rendered plinth, with whitewashed brick infill at the bottom and fishscale tile hanging above. The roofs are plain tiled and half-hipped to the left. The main entrance is now located at the rear of the house. It has two storeys, with stacks positioned to the left and rear. On the first floor, there are three diamond-pane casements, and three windows are located below. The tile hanging extends over the ground floor, and there is a plank door to the left.
On the left side of the house, which faces a pond, there are two attic windows and a rendered pentice extension to the left. At the rear, there is a wing on the right with a weatherboarded gable, a stack at the centre of the ridge, and tension braces on the first floor. There is also a 19th-century weatherboard extension to the left, which is not considered of special interest.
