Description
Carrier Cottage and Cherry Tree Cottage is a cottage that dates from the late 16th century to early 17th century and was extended in the 20th century. The building features exposed timber framing on the ground floor, with whitewashed brick and render infill, and is tile hung on the first floor. It has a plain tiled roof that is half-hipped to the left. The cottage is two storeys high and has a stack to the left of the centre and another stack at the right end. On the first floor, there are four 3-light 20th-century double glazed leaded casement windows, while the ground floor has four windows. A 20th-century door is located to the left of centre, positioned under a flat hood, and there is a 20th-century panelled door to the right. The rear of the cottage has 20th-century extensions over an outshot.
