It features a timber frame set on a brick and stone plinth, with red and brown brick cladding below and tile hanging above. The roof is plain tiled and half hipped, with an end stack on the left and a rear stack to the left of centre. The cottage has two storeys and four casement windows across the first floor. There is a part glazed plank door located to the left of centre, which is sheltered by a pent porch hood supported by wooden braces. The left-hand return front displays exposed framing.
