Description
Kobe is a cottage dating from the 17th century, which was restored in the 20th century. It has a timber frame that is clad in whitewashed brick and features a plain tiled roof with a rear ridge stack located at the center. The building is two storeys high and has three casement windows on the first floor, with the center window positioned to the right and set under a cambered head. On the ground floor, there is a window to the right, also under a cambered head, and a half-glazed brick gabled porch with a planked outer door at the center. To the left end of the cottage, there is a pent roof extension, and the exposed framing consists of thin scantling. The rear of the cottage has a catslide roof.
