Description
Talbot Cottage is a cottage dating from the early 17th century, around 1630. It has a timber frame that is exposed on the right-hand return front, while the front is clad in whitewashed brick and the left-hand return front has rendered cladding and infill. The cottage features a plain tiled roof and stands two storeys high on a plinth, with a plat band above the ground floor and brick dentilled eaves. There is a ridge stack and one three-light diamond-pane window on each floor, both equipped with shutters. At the rear, there is a wing that is at right angles, which has one casement window on each floor. Additionally, there is a 20th-century single-storey wing at the rear, which includes a ribbed door to the right within a porch recess.
