Description

A house, dating from the late 18th century, though possibly incorporating earlier fabric. The rear is built of brick, with some blue headers visible on the right-hand return wall; the central portion of the front elevation features colourwashed, incised stucco, while the left-hand side is colourwashed brick. The front has hipped slate roofs with hipped and gabled plain tiled roofs at the rear. The house stands on a plinth and has deep, bracketed eaves. There are two end stacks to the right and an end stack to the left where it adjoins an extension. The front has two 12-pane sash windows on each floor, set in architrave frames. A four-panel door, with a moulded surround and corner rosettes, is sheltered by a braced flat hood. To the left, an extension features a single sash window and a further door. A single-storey extension to the right has one large sash window. A rear range has replacement sash windows.
