Description

Ryde Farmhouse is a house from the 17th century that was restored in the 20th century. It has a timber frame covered in red brick and features plain tiled roofs, which slope down to the right and are hipped at the right end. The building has two storeys, with the timber frame visible on the left gable end. The windows are 20th-century leaded wood-framed casements, with three on the first floor and two on the ground floor in the right-hand extension. There is a multiple stack chimney to the right of the junction with the wings and another stack at the left end. The main house has glazed doors set in a gabled brick porch at the centre.
