Description
The orangery at Ockham Park is a mid-18th century structure built of yellow brick with orange/red brick dressings. It features a hipped roof that is hidden by an attic parapet and stands at approximately 20 feet high with a single room inside. The facade includes five large round arched casement windows, each with gauged brick heads and impost blocks, although only the lowest third of these windows are operable. There are glazed doors at the center of the building. A dentilled pediment is located at the center of the attic, extending over the central three bays, which includes a gauged brick oval "bulls eye." The orangery is partly derelict, and there is a parallel range at the rear that is of no particular interest.
