Description
Nos 1 and 2 Bridgefoot Farm Cottages is a house, now divided, dating from the 17th century. It features a timber frame that is underbuilt in red and blue brickwork arranged in a chequerwork pattern, with some parts colourwashed, set on a rendered plinth. Above, there is club pattern tile hanging. The roof is plain tiled and half-hipped. The building has a T-shaped plan with wings at right angles to the rear and stands two storeys tall with end stacks. On the first floor, there are two 3-light casement windows, partly leaded, and below them are two 2-light ground floor casements. The central door, located under a hipped hood supported by curved braces, is part of No. 2, while there is an additional door to the right side of the return front of the rear wing, which belongs to No. 1. To the right of the rear wing, there is a single-storey brick stable wing.
