Description
Bridgefoot Farmhouse is a house dating from the mid-17th century, with extensions added in the 19th and 20th centuries. It has a timber core and is clad in red brick, topped with plain-tiled roofs. The building has a T-shaped plan, featuring a rear wing that is set at right angles to the front. It stands two storeys tall with an attic, which includes a gabled dormer located to the left of the centre. There is a rear ridge stack to the left and two diagonal rear ridge stacks to the right. The windows are arranged irregularly, with evidence of older, blocked windows. The first floor has two windows, while the ground floor has three windows, all under cambered heads. At the centre, there is a two-storey gabled porch that projects outward, featuring a first-floor casement window and an arched, four-centred opening below that leads to a planked door. Additional doors can be found on the right-hand return front of the rear wing.
