Description

The gates, gate piers, and walls to Ockham Park date from the late 19th century. They feature brown brick walls that stand approximately 7 feet high, topped with a plat band and brick corbel coping. The iron gates are set in a half oval plan, with the central gates flanked by open standards that are also about 7 feet high and topped with urn finials. The side gates have roundel band decorations at both the top and bottom, while the central double gates display a similar pattern along with additional semi-circular bracing. These structures are included for their group value.
