Description
The gate piers, iron gates, and walls at the entrance to Cheveley Park were constructed around 1900. They are made of rusticated red brick and feature a limestone plinth band, along with an enriched moulded cornice at the top, which is capped with ball finials. The low red brick walls have limestone copings and are complemented by iron railings, with four piers that share similar design details to the gate piers. The gates themselves are made of good-quality cast iron. The design was created by J.P. Hore for the Cheveley Estate in 1899.
