Description
Gateways is a lodge built around 1900, constructed from red brick with a plain tile roof. It is a single-storey building featuring a tall ridge stack. The lodge has shaped parapet gables, each adorned with a shield of arms above a canted bay window. To the right of the bay window, there is a recessed main entrance located in a porch, which has a four-centred brick arch, a key block, and fluted pilaster detail. The lodge was designed by J.P. Hore for the Cheveley Estate in 1899.
