Description

Little Besides House and Pantrys is a house, now divided, dating to the 17th century with a front elevation dating to the 18th century. The building is constructed of red and brown brick, with some blue headers arranged in a chequerboard pattern on the front. It has a wooden, dentilled eaves cornice and a plain tiled, half-hipped roof. The house stands on a plinth with a plat band above the ground floor. There is a front stack to the end on the right, and a square corbelled ridge stack to the left of centre. The first floor has three casement windows, and the ground floor also has three windows, those either side of the entrance being set within cambered relieving arches. The right-hand side has a six-panelled door set within a 20th-century gabled hood supported by brackets. A further door is located on the left-hand return front. The right-hand return front reveals a half-hipped end truss frame, with a lower-hipped roof range to the rear.
