Description

Walnut Tree Farmhouse is a house that dates from the late 18th century, with a front that may belong to an earlier building. It features chequered red and grey brick on a stone plinth and has a plain tile roof. The structure is two storeys tall with a garret on the plinth, and it has a boxed wood eaves cornice and a half-hipped roof. There is an off-centre brick ridge stack to the left and another stack at the rear right gable end. The front has three regular windows, consisting of two tripartite sashes and one 12-pane glazing bar sash, all in open boxes. The central entrance has a 20th-century glazed door. To the left, there is a broad weatherboarded lean-to, and there are short rear additions to the left and centre. The interior has not been inspected.
